Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Uterine fibroids
  • Menorrhagia
  • Scheduled for hysterectomy
  • Pre-menopausal

Exclusion

  • Childwish (planning to conceive)
  • Pregnancy
  • Suspected malignancy
  • Untreated pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
  • Clotting disorders
  • Contrast fluid allergy
  • Presence of intrauterine device (IUD)
  • Renal failure (creatinine \> 150 mmol/l)
