Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients receiving bariatric surgery for obesity

Exclusion

  • Other causes of liver disease (hepatitis B virus \[HBV\], hepatitis C virus \[HCV\], primary biliary cirrhosis \[PBC\], etc.)
  • Patients with diabetes type I
  • Patients with endocrinological reasons for obesity (eg. Cushing, etc.)
