Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients with heart failure treated with beta-blocker; hospitalisation for heart failure worsening with pulmonary oedema.
  • Left ventricular ejection fraction less than 40%

Exclusion

  • Indication of intravenous positive inotropic treatment
  • Indication to withdraw beta-blocker treatment
