Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • age 75 or older
  • without sleep disorders
  • without psychiatric disorders
  • Folstein MMSE of 24 or greater

Exclusion

  • Apnea-hypopnea index greater than 30
  • Mean sleep latency less than 6
  • Psychotropic medications present
