Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Clinical diagnosis of hypertension

Exclusion

  • Severe hypertension (treated with 3 or more antihypertensive drugs)
  • Unable to change antihypertensive drugs to a calcium antagonist or an angiotensin antagonist
  • Serious medical conditions
  • Women who may become to be pregnant
