Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Healthy Adults
  • Adults with Child-Pugh Class C liver cirrhosis

Exclusion

  • Diagnosis of renal failure
  • Urgent need of liver transplant
  • Selenium supplements of \>25 µg per day during the past year
