Inclusion

  • Inclusion Criteria:
  • age \> 16 yrs, acute onset of severe respiratory distress, bilateral rales and typical findings of congestion on chest radiograph
  • breathing frequency of \> 30/min, SpO2 \>90%, use of accessory respiratory muscles
