Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- first time major depression
- age over 50 years
- Caucasian
- admitted at a psychiatric hospital or treated at a local psychiatric clinic in Aarhus Amt
Exclusion
- major brain damage (e.g. stroke, epilepsy, trauma)
- major alcohol or drug abuse
