Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • persons who are colonized with MRSA, i.e. one or more cultures from any body site yielded MRSA

Exclusion

  • ongoing systemic or local antimicrobial treatment directed against MRSA
  • hypersensitivity to mupirocin or chlorhexidine
  • pregnancy
  • previous enrolment
