Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- morbidly obese patients with BMI \> 30
- confirmed obstructive sleep apnea with RDI \> 10/hr
- able to sign consent
Exclusion
- patients undergoing weight reduction surgery
- sleep apnea other than obstructive sleep apnea
- untreated endocrine disorder
- patient refusal
