Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- infection with P.falciparum detected by PCR
Exclusion
- pregnancy
- severe anaemia
- fever or other signs of illness
- history of allergy to sulfa drugs
- presence of other species of Plasmodium detected by microscopy
