Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- significant pterygium clinically requiring excision
- willingness to participate in research project and to attend research clinic
Exclusion
- age \< 18 years
- other concurrent corneal pathology
- poor acuity due to other ocular pathology
- poor general health
