Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients older than 18 years,
  • Orotracheal intubation for less than 24 hours
  • Expectancy to remain on mechanical ventilation for more than 48 hours

Exclusion

  • Pneumonia
  • Witnessed macroscopic aspiration
