Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients older than 18 years,
- Orotracheal intubation for less than 24 hours
- Expectancy to remain on mechanical ventilation for more than 48 hours
Exclusion
- Pneumonia
- Witnessed macroscopic aspiration
