Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Current episode of low back pain
  • mechanical origin
  • Threshold low back pain level

Exclusion

  • Contraindications to spinal manipulation or massage
  • Complicating conditions that could confound clinical outcome
  • Prophylactic use of prescription medication
  • Health-related litigation, claims, or disability compensation
