Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Newborn infants with birth weight ≥ 2.500 g and gestational age ≥ 37 weeks were considered eligible for the study.
Exclusion
- HIV-positive mothers
- Congenital malformation
- Infants referred to intensive care unit
- Multiple pregnancy.
