  • DISEASE CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Diagnosis of cancer
  • Scheduled to undergo a routine bone marrow aspiration with or without biopsy
  • No requirement for conscious sedation during the procedure
  • PATIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Not specified
  • PRIOR CONCURRENT THERAPY:

  • No prior acupuncture or acupressure
  • No prior participation in this study
