Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- age 6 months-23 years
- documented central line infection with bacteria or fungus (positive blood culture)
Exclusion
- allergy or intolerance to ethanol
- pregnant or breastfeeding
- central line tunnel or exit site infection
