Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- new traumatic SCI
- inpatient acute rehabilitation at the SCI system hospital
- residence in the catchment area at the time of injury
Exclusion
- lack of a telephone
- non-English speaking
- severe psychiatric condition such as psychosis
