Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Participants will undergo a stripping operation for varicose veins
  • Surgery will be performed by one physician only
  • Written informed consent

Exclusion

  • Any contraindications to the proposed interventions
  • Procedures done under regional anesthesia
