Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Adult patients schedules to undergo cardiac surgery with use of CPB.

Exclusion

  • inability to provide consent;
  • previous diagnosis of asthma;
  • acute pre-operative respiratory failure;
  • emergency surgery.
