Inclusion
- multiple trauma with
- at least two abbreviated injury scoring (AIS) regions involved and
- injury severity score (ISS)\>16
- primary hospital treatment at University Hospital Basel
Exclusion
- monotrauma or
- ISS \< 16 or
- prior treatment in another hospital
