Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients with incisional hernia smaller than 8cm in diameter
  • obtained informed consent

Exclusion

  • Pregnancy
  • Residual intraperitoneal mesh
  • contaminated abdominal cavity
  • longterm use of corticosteroids and other immunosuppressive agents
  • bodymass index \> 45
  • general contradictions for laparoscopy
