Inclusion
- All patients admitted to the medical intensive care unit (ICU) are eligible for inclusion
Exclusion
- Patient refusal
- Contraindication to nasal swabbing (arm 1)
- Allergy/sensitivity to chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) (arm 2)
