Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Head and neck cancer patients with limited mouth opening
- Undergoing awake fiberoptic nasal intubation for elective surgery
Exclusion
- a history of severe bradycardia
- any type of A-V block in EKG
- heart failure
- liver cirrhosis
- thrombocytopenia
- coagulopathy
