Inclusion
- age \>18 years
- written informed consent
- scheduled procedures
Exclusion
- ongoing acute myocardial infarction
- cardiac troponin \>1 ng/ml
- previous unusual response to an anesthetic
- use of sulfonylurea, theophylline or allopurinol
- thoracotomy
