Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients under mechanical ventilation with less of 24 hours and a expectative of stay intubated for more than 24 hours

Exclusion

  • Intubation secondary to a neurological cause
  • Pregnant women
  • Severe asthma or COPD decompensation
  • Palliative care
