Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- gestation 32 weeks or less
- 1 week of age or less
- intravenous line in place for clinical purposes
Exclusion
- imminent death
- active infection
- pre-existing diagnosis of NEC
- fluid or electrolyte imbalance
