- African American
- Clinical Diagnosis of Hypertension
- Patient at Cooper Green Hospital
- Provided Informed Consent
- Age 18 or older
Exclusion
- Pregnant
- Diagnosed with dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar illness, or other serious acute or chronic medical co-morbidity
