Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- total thyroidectomy
Exclusion
- hemithyroidectomy or subtotal thyroidectomy
- additional surgical procedures together with the total thyroidectomy (i.e., parathyroidectomy or cervical lymph node dissection)
