- DISEASE CHARACTERISTICS:
- Diagnosis of early-stage breast cancer for which an Oncotype Dx assay has been performed
- Must have diagnostic H\&E stained tumor tissue samples available
- Hormone receptor status:
- Estrogen receptor-positive tumor
- PATIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
