Inclusion
- BMI \> 35 Kg/m2
- Metabolic syndrome diagnosed
Exclusion
- Type 1 diabetes
- Uncontrolled type 2 diabetes
- Cirrhosis or active hepatitis
- Pregnancy
- Recent MI or stroke
