Inclusion
- schizophrenia inpatients who received conventional antipsychotics for more than one year,
- those who met Schooler and Kane's criteria for persistent TD.
Exclusion
- mental retardation,
- organic mental disorder,
- pregnancy and allergy to trial drugs.
