Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- 1 mo - 15 yo children with DEHYDRATION from vomiting, diarrhea, or poor oral intake from presumed gastroenteritis
- Previously healthy
Exclusion
- Preexisting cardiac, renal, or gastrointestinal disease
- diabetes
- failure to thrive
