Inclusion
- elective colonic cancer surgery
- hemicolectomy or sigmoid resection
- informed consent
Exclusion
- disseminated cancer
- contraindications for laparoscopic surgery
- dementia or serious psychiatric disease
- diseases or other aspects that prohibit participation
