Inclusion

  • patients with cervical instability undergoing elective decompression of cervical spine

Exclusion

  • patient refused participation
  • contraindications for awake intubation techniques (e.g. nasal bleeding, anatomical disorders)
  • patient under alcohol or drugs
  • emergency surgery
