Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- ST-elevation myocardial infarction \< 12 hours
- primary percutaneous coronary intervention
Exclusion
- previous myocardial infarction
- prior fibrinolysis
- contraindications to CMR at study entry (such as implanted pacemakers, defibrillators, claustrophobia or metallic intracranial implants)
