Inclusion

  • Having metabolic syndrome according to international diabetes foundations definition (IDF).

Exclusion

  • Unstable angina pectoris
  • Uncompensated heart failure
  • Myocardial infarction during the past 4 weeks
  • Complex ventricular arrhythmias
  • Kidney failure
