- DISEASE CHARACTERISTICS:
- Diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma
- Previously untreated disease
- Patients must meet the eligibility criteria and be registered to a currently active Southwest Oncology Group-coordinated treatment protocol for previously untreated non-Hodgkin lymphoma
