Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • severe aortic stenosis
  • left ventricular hypertrophy of more than 10mm IVS thickness
  • normal ejection fraction
  • SR

Exclusion

  • moderately or severely reduced systolic left ventricular function (ejection fraction \<30%)
  • atrial fibrillation or flutter
  • intolerance to glutamate.
