Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
  • Left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) gradient less than 30 mm Hg at rest
  • Age 18 years or older

Exclusion

  • Contraindication to losartan
  • Already taking losartan
  • Contraindication to MRI
  • Hemodynamic instability
