Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Elective CABC patients

Exclusion

  • Previous episodes of AF of flutter
  • Contraindications for betablocker use
  • Sick sinus syndrome
  • II or III degree atrioventricular block
  • Uncontrolled heart failure
  • Previous medication of corticosteroids and immunosuppressive medication
  • Emergency surgery
