Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients with severe obesity (BMI equal to or greater than 50) who have been scheduled to receive Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.

Exclusion

  • Previous abdominal surgery, chronic diarrhea, and severe constipation.
