Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • patients undergoing thoracic surgery

Exclusion

  • preoperative arrhythmia
  • left ventricular ejection fraction \<40%
  • intra-cardiac valve disease
  • intra-cardiac shunt
  • pulmonary artery hypertension
  • severe peripheral vascular obstructive disease
  • decreased pulmonary function
