Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients scheduled for colorectal cancer surgery
Exclusion
- Emergent surgery
- Intestinal obstruction
- Contraindication for epidural catheter placement
- Concomitant autoimmune disease
- Concomitant infectious disease
- Recent corticosteroids or anti-inflammatory medications
