Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- men and women older than 18 years referred for diagnostic outpatient colonoscopy
- provided written consent
Exclusion
- history of colorectal surgery
- known diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease
- chronic benzodiazepine use
- refusal of minimal sedation
