Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • pulmonary function: FEV1 \< 45 %, RV \> 150 %, TLC \> 100 %
  • heterogeneous emphysema

Exclusion

  • homogeneous emphysema
  • significant bronchiectasis
  • severe concomitant diseases
  • pregnancy
