Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • all patients requiring invasive MV and thoracic contrast-enhanced CT for any reason

Exclusion

  • a diagnosis of PE before ICU admission,
  • allergy to contrast agents,
  • and age younger than 18 years.
