Inclusion

  • patients with resistant hypertension
  • age 18-65 years

Exclusion

  • known cause of hypertension
  • heart failure
  • renal dysfunction
  • Stroke, transient ischaemic attack or myocardial infarction in the past 6 months
  • cirrhosis
  • pregnancy
  • undertreatment of glucocorticoid
