- age \>18 years
- ASA I-II, scheduled for elective surgery requiring general anesthesia
- signed informed consent
Exclusion
- patient refusal
- BMI \> 35
- co-existing respiratory disease (COPD, asthma, restrictive lung disease)
- pregnancy
