Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Diagnosis of AP
- Age 18 years or older
- Written informed consent
- Ongoing need for opiates
Exclusion
- 96 hours after onset of symptoms
- Chronic pancreatitis
- Post-ERCP pancreatitis
- Intraoperative diagnosis
- Pregnancy
- Malignancy
- Received nutrition before randomisation
